Money Watch ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Money Watch mobile application (the "Service") developed by Burak Alpugan.
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
By using the Service, you agree that none of your data is being stored or used by Money Watch, and that the app takes no responsibility for your financial losses as Money Watch is recommended for informational use only. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.
We do not collect any types of information. All your portfolio data is stored locally on your device. On iOS it may be synchronised through your own iCloud account; on Android it is held in the app's private storage on the device. We have no access to your financial information, and there is no account or sign-up.
The security of your data is important to us. All data is stored locally on your device, and on iOS synchronised through Apple's secure iCloud service. We do not collect, store, or have access to any of your personal or financial data.
To show prices, the app requests market data from our data provider, EOD Historical Data (eodhistoricaldata.com). Those requests contain the ticker symbols being displayed — for example AAPL.US — together with the network information any internet request necessarily carries, such as your IP address. They do not contain your holdings, your quantities, your trades, your portfolio values, or any identifier we have created for you. We do not receive or retain a copy of these requests.
Our app may use third-party services for market data. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Purchases of Money Watch Pro are handled by the app store you installed from — Apple's App Store or Google Play. Those stores process the payment and manage the subscription under their own privacy policies; we receive no payment details from them.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 14 ("Children").
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 14. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
We will let you know via a prominent notice in our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
